​General Information: 

1. Make an appointment!  Do this ahead of time, just follow the links.  If you need to reschedule, kindly call to let them know. 
2. Plan on about 30 minutes for each car seat. 
3. Before the appointment:

• ​​Check the seat's expiration date -- look for it on the seat. For safety, the seat must be less than 6 years old.
• Clear out where the seat must go.

​​The Northampton Police Department will gladly check your child's car seat for overall safety and for how to install it properly.
